Having fun when its only 21 (degrees)

It's pretty hard to entertain a toddler when you can't go outside. As you'll see, we've tried quite a few things:

Sometimes curling up with a good book (and some blocks) does the trick.

Sometimes playing in the ball pit hits the spot...

Sometimes we made silly faces...


Sometimes we wore silly outfits (but not Mommy...)

And sometimes, we just bundled up and went for it!

It's cold and snowy...

...but Emmie LOVES this weather. She has been having a great time going outside running around in the snow and sledding with Daddy. Even though the temperature was in the low twenties and her nose and cheeks were bright red, she put up a fight when I told her we had to go back inside. Her are a few pictures of Emmie enjoying the snow.

Christmas with the dogs?

Emmie has always loved our cats, but she has a new love "Doggies!" When we went out to Arizona and California for the holidays she was able to meet all sorts of dogs and loved them all so much. In fact when she wakes up in the morning the first thing she is still saying in Doggies. Here are a couple pictures of Emmie's fun with the dogs.
