Emmie vs. the Lightning

Yesterday night we had quite the thunderstorm, bigger then I think any of us had been in before. At one point the local tornado alarm went off, so we had to take Emmie and a flashlight and head downstairs.

Despite the howling wind (which blew our door open) and the punishing rain, mostly all we heard was Emmie snoring... Needless to say, we didn't sleep too well, but Emmie was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning.
Here's a couple of screen captures from our camera. We took a few movies of the storm, so these pictures are not as high resolution:
