A Most Eggs-cellent Birthday

Today was Easter, but also Emmie's second birthday. Needless to say, we had lots of fun! Here's a brief summary of the action:

The day began with a good old-fashioned Easter egg hunt.

Note to self: hide the eggs better next year...

Then came the Easter baskets - "Candy? For breakfast? Sweeeeet!"

After breakfast we got to open some presents -

Emmie got lots of cool stuff...

Later in the evening, Emmie enjoyed a beautiful birthday cake.

Mommy had to help some with the candles...

But not with the cake - Emmie has that down :)
