If only she could stop laughing...

Take me out to the ball game...

Emmie went to her first baseball game today, the Indy Indians vs. the Norfolk Tides. It was a bit muggy outside, but there was quite a crowd nonetheless:

Here's a shot of Mommy and Emmie. I think Emmie is practicing her baseball signals...
Here's Daddy and Emmie taking on the competition in a no-holds barred, all-out "spray the mascot on the nose" contest:

And Emmie emerged victorious:

I guess they don't call it Victory Field for nothing...

Turtle Baby

Not only does Emmie like to imitate ducks, as you saw in the last post, but she also likes to sleep like a turtle. For the last few weeks she has been falling asleep with her head on the mattress and her bottom up in the air. Here are a couple pictures showing her turtle pose:

FYI: I hear that daddy used to sleep in this position when he was a baby :)

Quack, Quack...

So, as you know, Mommy and Emmie have been going out to the pond and feeding their ducks every morning. The ducks have become so used to us that they are now nipping at Emmie's toes and hands trying to get the bread before she can give it to them. I think that Emmie has been hanging out with the ducks too much and I have proof. Here is a short video of Emmie after her bath last night:

Nothing new, eh?

Well, Mommy dearest may have said there's nothing new to report, but she didn't really explain the whole process for riding the train. There's much more to talk about, if you really want to know...

Step 1: You must purchase a train ticket. The Emerson Express currently accepts either gold stars or gold coins.

Step 2: So you've purchased your ticket; why don't you enjoy a light snack? (complimentary, of course...)

Step 3: Uh-oh. Looks like the train is experiencing some technical difficulties...
Step 4: Choo-Choo! Enjoy the ride!

Nothing New

We haven't done anything fun or exciting lately, so I don't really have anything to post. I am sure that everyone is having Emmie withdrawals, so here is a picture of her taken this morning :)
