Bouncie Baby

We took Emmie to an indoor Bounce & Play place, with lots of inflatable toys for Emmie to crawl around on... and some giant slides for everyone! Here's Daddy and Emmie getting ready to zoom:

Apparently we zoomed a little too fast, as the inflatable police soon showed up. Luckily, Emmie was able to charm them, and even got to try her hand at driving the car:

Notes from the field...

Look - over there... the very rare, elusive Walking Emerson. While many of us are used to seeing the more common Crawling Emerson, recent evidence suggests that the Emersons are becoming more mobile, as they seek new and more exciting places to explore and make a mess of. Here's a video of one such Emerson, as she learns to stand and travel:

Note the unsure, wobbly legs as the Emerson attempts to find her footing. Note the triumphant arms, raised over the head as she gains her balance. How fascinating!

Pillow Talk

Every day Emmie seems to get a little more grown up. Now she's even using her pillow:

Luckily, the double pacifier approach kinda reminds you how little she still is...

Noodles....YUM!!!

Emmie loves pasta and can eat it all day. We are not talking plain old Mac and Cheese, her palate is much too sophisticated for that. Instead, we are talking about Pasta Fresca, Penne Rosa, and her new favorite Whole Grain Tuscan Linguine. Here are a couple photos of Emmie eating her noodles.
Nom Nom Nom...

...tasty noodles...

...would you like some? I pre-chewed it for you!

Happy Fireworks Day!

It was a bit soggy here, so Emmie had some fun inside with her horse:

Butt we hope your Fourth of July was a blast! (groan)

Rib Fest Fun

It's Rib Fest time again here in Avon and the Peabody family had a great time hanging out at the park and eating ribs (although only 1/3 of the Peabodys actually eat ribs). I think that Emmie enjoyed herself much more this year than she did last year. Probably because there was a plethora of dogs and balloons at the park, which are a few of her favorite things along with raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens (that song is stuck in your head now isn't it?) Anyway, I digress... enjoy a couple pictures of Emmie at Rib Fest!

Nevermind, I think I will just stick to my crackers and cheese.
Here is Emmie at last years Rib Fest...how she has changed!
