It is cold!!

There has been nothing to do here lately except play in the snow. I am the worst snow driver so I really don't like leaving the house unless the roads have been cleared.

The girls playing in the snow while mommy stayed warm in the garage.

"Mommy...can I go inside now?"

"Fine, I'll just sit here freezing!"

Emmie enjoying the taste of the fresh snow. She seriously ate like 5 handfuls of snow!

This picture was taken about 5 seconds before Emerson decided it would be fun to throw her handful of snow at Delaney.

Happy New Year!

Being the awesome parents that we are, we took our girls out to a party for New Year's Eve. Now, the party celebrated the new year at 8:00 pm, but for the little ones it felt like midnight. Here are some pics of the fun:

Nothing says "Happy New Year" like a ridiculously tiny Christmas sleigh. Apparently Emerson thought it was time for a dramatic speech.

The party was at the Indiana State Museum, which is apparently where they keep the odd parts of Indiana.

Laney's rocking out with some cool beads. I'm sure they're not a choking hazard.

Emmie had fun chasing people around with her balloon.

Daddy and Delaney dancing the night away.

Christmas Day

Well, we've finally recovered some from the Christmas chaos, so it's time to post some of the pictures from that oh-so-special day. But first, here's a video of everyone coming down the stairs Christmas morning:

As you can tell, Emmie was quite excited to see all the stuff Santa brought...

It was at this point I realized that Laney's stocking could actually hold Laney.

No, this picture isn't blurry; Emmie was just opening things that fast...

Tabby eventually ventured downstairs to see what Santa brought her.

Here's a typical Emmie reaction to her presents. She really liked everything she got.

Here's Delaney helping Daddy open his present. I think they were both excited for the new toy!
